A Mini-Doc For a Big Personality

This project has taken many forms over the past four months that I have been writing about Rick Berlin: a blog, Twitter account, Tumblr, podcast, radio, video, and finally, a mini-doc. Since January, I have spent innumerable hours interviewing Berlin and following him and The Nickel And Dime Band to venues such as Jacque’s Cabaret, the Midway Cafe and the House of Blues.

This video is about Rick Berlin and The Nickel And Dime Band. But the heart of this story is rooted in rock and roll and the irresistible pull it has on all who allow themselves to be drawn into its orbit, and the way that music can change and shape one’s life.

An emphatic and genuine THANK YOU isn’t nearly sufficient for Rick Berlin, and for all of you who have taken the time to speak with me about Rick and read my stories. HAIL HAIL ROCK AND ROLL!
